We live in a blessed nation, with wonderful freedoms. We serve a God, Who gave His everything for our eternal souls.

But do we take time to reflect on these truths and show gratitude?

The faithfulness of God is something we do not deny in public conversation, but the battle can rage within our mind. As we continue our discussion of Abraham, I pray you are challenged to a new level of faith.

Sometimes we hold on to things that are poison, completely convinced it is what we need. When God tells you to release something, it will always be for your ultimate good.

This week’s post may be short and sweet, but it’s a great reminder of the practice of rest and how we need to incorporate it into our routines.

Bad habits can be a beast to break. As Christ followers, learning to remain in the Light after salvation can be difficult when we’re accustomed to hanging out in the shadows. We must try to defeat our old flesh, because the things which lurk in the dark, wish to pull you back down to the depths.

Money can be a scary topic. It is one of the top stresses in people’s lives today, but we are going to strip finances down, keeping it simple and start with bottom basement basics.

Trials, pain and grief are part of our world. It is unavoidable, but it doesn’t have to become overwhelming. The scriptures give us much wisdom into the topic of suffering well.

The mirror will whisper things in our ear that cause us to believe lies in our heart. How can we keep ourselves from becoming a prisoner of war, from the battle that rages within our own minds? Dear friends, it’s not as complex as it seems.

Some within the church today do not believe the Lord still speaks to His people. This may be your thought as well on the topic, but give me five minutes, an open mind and perhaps we can reason together to form a new opinion.

Scripture has a way of grabbing your attention and making you see things you haven’t before, even with verses you have read multiple times. This is what happened to me last week in the book of Isaiah and what I discovered, is profound.
