Sometimes we can see something and still miss it. We are distracted, careless or just blinded by our own desires and wants. There are two types of seekers in today’s story. Which are you?

We have become so inward focused, we cannot see beyond our own thoughts, wants and desires. Because of this, we can easily twist scripture to fit the narrative that runs full time within our brains.

How well do you know those around you? You may think, “What difference does it make?” Jesus has a lot to say about those who do not take the time to get to know Him.

Our lives are in perpetual motion. There is nothing steady, nor anything that will not be touched by some sort of change during the course of a lifetime.

So, is the only constant thing we have in life is change?

Waiting to hear from the Lord can be nerve racking. How are you supposed to just sit still? You’ve got things to do and places to go. Why won’t He just tell you already, what you’re supposed to be doing?

Confusion, chaos, struggle, anxiety, fear, depression. We live in a world packed with storms raging around us. How can we find a sense of tranquility and peace within all the noise? It’s all in your mind.

We all have brokenness in our lives. Some are shattered in tiny pieces and others are merely cracked. Regardless of the level of destruction, do you believe Jesus can use what we believe to be trash?
