Dear Daughter…

It’s Me again.

I’m always thankful when I can hear your voice, for I delight in spending time with you. My children are never a burden to Me, although I can see how you would feel that way. You are but flesh and bone; with such limited knowledge, foresight and understanding, even the smallest amount of adversity or trouble, easily overwhelms you. Remember, My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. I know the ending from the very beginning, so when you come to Me in a season of fear or uncertainty, this is never a burden, for I know what the next day will hold for you.

And the next.

And the one after that.

All the pieces that seem out of place to you, are a completed masterpiece for Me. I see it all. Rest in the total security of knowing you do not need to have all the answers. If you lack wisdom, ask Me, and I will guide your path. Why try to figure out something in your own understanding? Trust Me with your whole heart and everything that is crooked and curved, will be made arrow straight.

I would like to bring clarity to the question that was posed in your letter. The “it” you seek to understand is Me.

All of creation declares My glory and testifies of My goodness, might and power. So, your sudden revelation in your closing paragraph, revealing the truth it has nothing to do with you, is correct. From Genesis to Revelation, My words to you in the scriptures, point to My Son, Jesus Christ- your Messiah.

It’s a story about rebellion and selfish disobedience.

The original evil villain, in which every evil villain, in every story since has been modeled after; twisted, lied and manipulated others to follow his treacherous leading.

A telling of the origin of your species and the same manipulation that deceived one third of the angels, sunk its talons into human kind, changing their fate, but not in totality.

Because the story rolls forward with a promise of One to come Who will make all things new, defeat the serpent and conquer death. A plan to repair the breach between Myself and all humanity, if they believe on the name of the One I sent them.

And I kept My word. My Son was born of a virgin, died on a cross, rose from the grave and is now seated by My right side, completing to perfection all that I sent Him to accomplish.

And yet, that is still not the final chapter, for one day very soon, He shall return with trumpet sound to gather His Bride. He shall take them all home so we can live together in My glory, in My house. The place I am preparing for you even now.

And Christ shall completely vanquish His foes and all those who rebelled against Him, refusing to accept His great love and free gift of salvation. Hell and death shall be no more.

Your heart has listened to the whispers of the forked tongue that spews toxic venom, when he tells you it should be about you. This is your story. You are the great one.

The problem remains, as we circle back, to the fact you are but flesh. The most magnificent, greatness any human could possibly possess, is utter weakness compared to Me. This should not be a source of defeat, nor a lack of value to you, but a relief.

Too often you amass piles upon your shoulders, and soon the pressure to perform and carry everything alone, becomes too much to bear. When you understand I have all the strength, you feel free to lay everything down for Me to carry.

When you realize I have all knowledge, you will come to Me for answers to your questions, directions on your journey through life and discernment for the future.

I am your Provider. You can stop worrying and shut down fear.

I am your Healer. You can come to Me for spiritual, emotional and physical cures only I provide.

I am your Comforter. You can rest and remain at peace even during the roughest of storms.

Don’t you see child? With Me at the center of your life, you will be sheltered, loved, cared for, valued and set apart for My good works.

I will equip you, because I possess all the equipment necessary to achieve every goal.

I will sustain you, because I hold everything together with My righteous right hand.

I will satisfy you, because I alone have all you need.

So come to Me and learn. Drink from the well that is deep and never runs dry. Search Me, find Me and get to know Me on a deeper level each day. The more you see Me clearly, the more you can visualize who you are called to be in Jesus.

Losing your life into Mine- is the first step into finding what it means to truly live. It is the first step into uncovering “It”.
